Company & Role:
The senior project manager will facilitate scheduling, communication, work-flow, and delivery of creative projects through the copy and design teams in London and Amsterdam and co-ordination with global clients. The project manager will also seek and maintain relationships with outside vendors.
Deliver projects on-time and on-budget for clients.
Find cost savings throughout the year through diligent negotiation of prices and development of relationships with a range of vendors.
Collaborate comfortably with co-workers, helping maintain a positive studio environment and a spirit of open communication
Project Initiation and Planning
Thoroughly review and gather all pertinent information for project requests to develop strategies and schedules for creative execution in collaboration with internal clients and creative team
Track and manage workflow through Creative Services groups (primarily copy, Branding and design, with occasional collaboration with video and digital media)
Supervise the trafficking of project approvals from creatives to internal clients
Source print quotes, negotiate final pricing and manage print process from artwork submission through final delivery of pieces
Proactively reach out to internal clients for upcoming projects to ensure sufficient time is allotted for project completion
Work with internal clients on project-specific and departmental seasonal budget
Facilitate regular status meetings with key stakeholders and senior management
Develop strategies for situations where processes do not exist, identify out-of-date processes and work to develop new ones
Serve as system administrator for Workfront traffic workflow program
Develop, implement, and maintain regularly scheduled Workfront training programs for internal clients and creative team, in collaboration with producers
Help train new employees how to work with Creative Services
Daily review and adjustment of designers’ schedules to ensure comparable workloads
Develop and maintain vendor relationships
Discover and establish new printing and manufacturing relationships to grow the vendor network
Set yearly pricing for frequently printed materials
Work with internal departments to combine purchasing power and negotiation leverage for future jobs
Serve as a friendly first point of contact for clients and potential clients who are reaching out to Creative Services
Help keep the design studio in order
- Strong, proven project management experience within creative department or agency
- Understanding of marketing and digital communication channels including print, web, email, and social
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project executions and prioritize deliverables
- Extensive knowledge and experience with project management/workflow software
